Some of the options available to finish your copy or print order
Plastic Comb Binding
Plastic comb bound documents are normally given a clear plastic cover and card back. Plastic comb binding is suitable for up to 210 sheets of paper. Sheets can be added or taken away from the document without destroying the binder.
Metal Wiro Binding
A more permanent, secure and premium binding solution. Wiro bound documents can contain up to 115 pages. Once bound, sheets cannot be added or taken away without destroying the binder and replacing it with a new one.
Drilling (hole punching)
If your document is too big for comb or wiro binding we are able to drill holes to fit your lever arch folder or ring binder.
Bookleting (folding and stapling)
Printed sheets can be folded and stapled to make magazine-style booklets. Booklets are a great format for newsletters, periodicals and brochures. Booklets with thicker covers may need to be scored before folding and stitching.
Folding
We can parallel fold A5 to A3+ sheets in standard formats such as Z (Zig Zag) fold and letter fold. Non-standard sizes can also be folded.
Scoring
Scoring enables thick card or encapsulated items to fold neatly without cracking the material or the printed image.
Encapsulating
Protect your paper and card originals by encapsulating them in plastic. Encapsulating is an ideal way to preserve and strengthen posters and signs as well as artwork and photos. Encapsulating extends out giving sealed protection around the edges.
Laminating
Often mistaken for encapsulating, laminating adds a one or two sided matt or gloss finish to printed items such as advertising cards and business cards. Trimmed to the edge of the sheet, laminating does not give the same level of protection as encapsulating.
Cutting / Guillotining
We are able to straight edge cut up to 500 sheets of paper at a time with fractions of millimetre accuracy.
Round Cornering
Rounded corners can be applied to items such as business cards, invitations and menus.
Punching
Holes of varying shapes can be punched into paper and card. We hold stock dies for euroslot cutouts.
Numbering
Sequential numbering can be applied at the time of print or added to pre-printed items.
Perforating
Perforating allows easy tear off on items such as tickets and job sheets.
Collating
Copying and digitally printed jobs can be collated at the time of print. For litho printed sheets, multi part sets and uncollated sheets our collating machine can handle up to six different sheets at one time. Manually we can deal with many more.
